Marutomo Co., Ltd., founded in 1918 in Iyo, Ehime Prefecture, will celebrate its 107th anniversary in 2025.
Guided by our slogan “Safety, Security, and Health,” we manufacture and market around 1,000 products, including shaved bonito flakes, dashi soup stock, and liquid seasonings.

In 2018, we formulated Marutomo Vision 2030, setting clear goals for sales, profitability, market share, employee satisfaction, and the ratio of women in management positions.
In addition, from this fiscal year, we have incorporated CO₂ emission reduction targets to advance our decarbonization efforts.
We are striving to achieve these goals through initiatives such as introducing paper-based packaging to reduce plastic use, optimizing packaging materials, and installing solar power systems.

Furthermore, to pass on the appeal of Japanese cuisine and bonito culture to future generations, we actively promote food education programs for schools and companies,
collaborate with universities on product development, and support social contribution initiatives, including donations to food banks.

Looking ahead, we will continue to place building strong customer loyalty at the core of our business activities.
